The 8th edition of the Lyon International Competition will be held on Saturday, 25 March 2017, at the Cité Internationale in Lyon. The event will give L’Ecole du Vin de France, a training organisation well-known in the Lyon area and our new partner, an opportunity to share its expertise with you.

L’Ecole du Vin de France, a partner recognised for its expertise.
L’Ecole du Vin de France offers wine-tasting classes and certified training courses in oenology. Its sessions are held in Lyon and Paris and in French or English; some are a few hours long, others are spread over several days. Accessible to all, from beginners to confirmed wine-tasters, L’Ecole du Vin de France invites you to share exceptional wines with expert wine-lovers in exceptional places. In Lyon, classes organised by L’Ecole du Vin take place at the Résidence Warwick Reine Astrid (24 boulevard des Belges, 69006 Lyon), across from the splendid Tête d’Or park.

Our exclusive partnership with L’Ecole du Vin de France has led to the organisation of a conference-debate after the Lyon International Competition tasting.
Olivier Thiénot, director of L’Ecole du Vin de France, will lead this conference-debate on the subject of:
‘Natural wines’: just a trend, or the future of wine?

The conference will include 2 phases:
1. SeveralSeveral celebrities from the wine world will give their definition, viewpoint, experience with and position on natural wines, a rapidly growing movement.
2. Exchanges with the competition’s tasters will enliven the debate.

> The conference is exclusively for tasters at the Lyon International Competition: Register as a taster
