The final of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France Sommellerie 2018 competition is now over and four award-winners have been designated.
After deliberating, the jury has designated four award-winners: Pascaline Lepeltier (Racines in New-York), Eric Goettelmann (Bernard Loiseau corporation in Saulieu), Jean-Baptiste Klein (La Table d’Olivier Nasti in Kaysersberg) and Nicolas Vialettes (Taillevent in Paris).
For the first time, a woman has been named Meilleur Ouvrier de France Sommellerie. Pascaline Lepeltier may even go on to win a sort of Grand Slam, since she is participating in the final of the Meilleur Sommelier de France competition on November 11 of this year.
