Romain Le Gal, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, preside over this 2025 edition !

Romain ended up in the world of cheese after graduating as an agricultural engineer. Thanks to a successful experience at Prolaidis, his desire to keep on learning led him to enter the “Meilleurs Ouvriers de France” competition, which he passed with flying colours in 2023. He is the only MOF cheese maker in the Hauts-de-France region.

He now passes on his passion and knowledge of cheeses as Head Cheese Trainer at France Frais. In his perpetual quest for excellence, he keeps a careful eye on market trends and works with producers to meet customers’ expectations. Always keen to share, this year he launched a podcast called “Lait'Change”, to talk about everything going on in the cheese and dairy industry.
