The 12th edition of the Lyon International Competition could not be held at the Cité Internationale, but with a 20% rise in registrations, the competition really had to go on!
So our teams took on the challenge of organising the Competition in our own tasting rooms, under optimal conditions with regard to safety, fairness and comfort. Groups of 10 tasters, working under the authority of the commissioner general and supervised by an independent inspector, judged spirits, beers, and wines during the month of March.
Our Quality Manager defined strict procedures to protect the health of our tasters and team. All samples were tasted in conformity with hygiene measures, competition regulations and our ISO9001 certification.
A total of 9300 samples were judged by professional tasters and enlightened amateurs, and 56 trophies were awarded, along with Gold and Silver medals.
